Meleagris Necklace

The sternum, commonly called the breastbone or keel in birds, is a flat bone located in the center of the chest. In flying birds, it often has a pronounced keel for the attachment of flight muscles.

The ocellated turkey (Meleagris ocellata) is characterized by its iridescent plumage, slender neck, and strikingly colorful head with bright blue skin and vivid orange-red nodules.

Each necklace is adapted from a real bird bone sourced from scientific anatomical references, then digitally remodeled to become a wearable anatomical extension of the human body while preserving its original morphology.

This limited edition piece is hand numbered to guarantee its uniqueness.
